The Branson Regional Arts Council is thrilled to announce auditions for Grease the Musical: May 9th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and May 10th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. located at the Historic Owen Theatre in Downtown Branson. Ages 17 and up
Auditionees should prepare a cut of a song no longer than one minute in the style of the show and be ready to dance. Please wear appropriate clothing and shoes you can dance in, such as dance shoes or sneakers.

Character Breakdown (with Vocal Ranges):
Danny Zuko – The cool and confident leader of the T-Birds. Strong singer and mover with charisma and swagger.
Range: Tenor (B2–A4)
Sandy Dumbrowski – Sweet, innocent, and hopeful new girl. Strong vocalist with a sincere and romantic presence.
Range: Soprano (A3–D5)
Betty Rizzo – Tough, sarcastic leader of the Pink Ladies. Strong singer with attitude and depth.
Range: Alto/Mezzo (F3–C5)
Kenickie – Danny’s second-in-command. Bold, brash, and energetic. Strong mover with comedic edge.
Range: Baritone (C3–F4)
Frenchy – A dreamy, quirky Pink Lady with big personality. Great comedic timing.

Marty – The sophisticated and flirtatious Pink Lady. Confident with strong character work.

Jan – The funny, food-loving Pink Lady. Comedic role with big personality.

Doody – Young and goofy T-Bird. Plays guitar; light vocals and strong comedic energy.

Roger – The jokester of the T-Birds. High-energy with strong comedic timing.

Miss Lynch – The strict but comedic high school principal.

The Branson Regional Arts Council was founded in 1965 as the “Taney Arts Council,” and officially established 501 (c)(3) non-profit status as “Branson Arts Council, Inc.” in 1993.
