Just a reminder that the parent meeting for our Summer Theatre productions of Alice in Wonderland Jr. and High School Musical Jr. will take place Monday, May 11th at the Historic Owen Theatre!

Please note that parking tomorrow evening may be a bit challenging, as Commercial Street directly in front of the Owen Theatre will be blocked off for the film production crew making preparations for upcoming filming at the theatre. Most side streets, the Liberty Plaza parking lot, and the parking garage across the street will still be available for parking.

Please also note that there will be activity with the film production crew around the theatre, but they are aware of our parent meeting and accommodations have been made for our attendees.

We also want to share that we have had a change in directors for the Alice in Wonderland Jr. production group. Our new director will be Josh Williams, co-directed by Sarah Williams, with Cherie Stanley serving on the production team as Educator.

We look forward to seeing everyone Monday evening as we kick off an exciting summer of theatre!

The Branson Regional Arts Council was founded in 1965 as the “Taney Arts Council,” and officially established 501 (c)(3) non-profit status as “Branson Arts Council, Inc.” in 1993.

Our mission is “to create exceptional artistic, cultural and educational opportunities for our community.”

Financial support  is provided by BRAC members, theatre patrons, private donors, as well as additional grant support from  the Missouri Arts Council and other organizations.
