Crescendo and Staccato Audition Announcement!! Auditions will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at the Historic Owen Theatre.
Crescendo Auditions (Ages 7-12) 12pm-1pm
Staccato Auditions (Ages 13-18) 2pm-4pm
BRAC’s STACCATO AUDITION INFO: We are seeking a select number of students ages 13-18 for this Spring’s Staccato troupe!
We are pleased to welcome Kristin Cartwright as our new vocal instructor. Our new choreographer will be announced at a later date.
Auditions will be held:
● Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 2pm-4pm.
● Historic Owen Theatre (205 S Commercial St, Branson, MO 65616)
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS (NEW/RETURNING*)
*Returning members are being asked to “audition” so that the new production team will be able to meet you and see what you’re able to do as well. Your membership in Staccato is not in jeopardy! We just want to get to know you!
1. SING: Please come prepared to sing a 60 second cut of a song in a musical theatre style. There will be a bluetooth speaker and aux cable provided to play the accompaniment track from your device. We will also vocalize each singer’s range.
2. READ: We will be providing short scenes to cold read. It’s not memorized and allows the production team to hear acting choices and see chemistry when reading opposite another person. Loosen up, have fun, and make some daring choices!
3. DANCE: You will be taught a short dance combination so that we can determine skill level and ability. Please wear jazz shoes or sneakers as well as comfortable clothing.
Staccato Class Schedule (Saturdays 9:00am-12:00pm)
* Note: There may be make-up days or extra rehearsals added if needed.
● January: 17, 24, 31
● February: 7, 14, 21, 28
● March: 7**, 14, 28 (March 21 is Spring Break)
● April: 4**

Spring Showcase: Friday, April 10, 7 pm & Saturday, April 11, 2 pm
Tuition & Fees (if selected):
● $250 per semester ($50 registration fee + $200 tuition)
*Limited Scholarships available
